The Importance of Dynamic Soil

Good soil, good food, that’s a maxim you can live by, and a way to live more healthily too.

Most people don’t realize that soil is a living thing, a medium filled with pungent life and organic matter that is constantly being broken down to its finest elemental state.  The lowly worm is ever at work too,  it’s tunnels provide much needed oxygen for a plants root system.
The presence of the big three: nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium are important, but it is the micro nutrients that make all the difference.  That is what gives organically grown food their
extra kick – vitamins. Mass commercially grown food won’t do that.
So grow your own.
And compost, compost, compost.
